All-dielectric self-supporting Optical Cable (ADSS) features metal-free, tension-resistant, self-supporting, high insulation, non-inductive, thin diameter, lightweight, easy construction, and economical.

It is a composite fiber optical cablemade by winding An Optical Fiber bundle around a central reinforcement and applying protective measures such as insulation, waterproofing, reinforcement, and sheathing.

Features: All-dielectric, no metal, non-conductive; small cable diameter, high tensile strength; low linear expansion coefficient, wide applicable temperature range.

All Dielectric Self-Supporting (ADSS) optical cables provide fast and economical transmission channels for power communication systems due to their unique structure, good insulation and high temperature resistance, as well as high tensile strength. Generally speaking, ADSS optical cables are cheaper than OPGW (Optical Fiber Composite Ground Wire) cables in many applications, and they are easier to install. It is very desirable to use power lines or nearby towers to install ADSS optical cables, and in some places it is even necessary to use ADSS optical cables. The main uses of ADSS optical cables are:

(1) Using it as an introduction and lead-out optical cable for OPGW system relay stations. Based on its safety properties, it can effectively solve the power isolation problem when introducing and leading out of relay stations.
