Optical fiber and cable manufacturing process basic requirements
The requirements for the Optical Cable manufacturing process are simple and reliable, and the following points must be achieved according to the characteristics of the optical cable:
1, strictly control the role of pay-off and take-up tension on the optical fiber, ensure that the Optical Fiber Is continuous in the manufacturing process, and the optical fiber is subjected to small stress and small residual stress;
2. In the manufacturing process, the micro-bending attenuation caused by mechanical external force is strictly controlled, so that it has no impact on the transmission performance of the optical fiber;
3, the selection of reasonable plastic extrusion process, to avoid the improper process caused by plastic thermal shrinkage caused by micro bending attenuation, to ensure that the cable has a long-term stable transmission performance.
4, the outer sheath of the optical cable is to improve the side pressure and tensile capacity of the optical cable and moisture-proof sealing, at present, there are 8 kinds of optical cable outer sheath structure:
(1) Simple polyethylene sheath (PE sheath) structure;
(2) Aluminum/polyethylene composite longitudinal bonded sheath (LAP) structure;
(3) Corrugated steel strip longitudinally bonded with PE sheath structure;
(4) Aluminum/polyethylene composite longitudinal bonding layer plus corrugated steel strap lap and PE sheath lap;
(5) Aluminum/polyethylene composite longitudinal bonding layer plus steel strip longitudinal cladding and PE protective layer lap;
(6) Aluminum/polyethylene composite longitudinal bonding layer plus corrugated steel strip longitudinal coating and PE protective layer lap;
(7) Aluminum/polyethylene composite longitudinal bonded sheath plus steel wire armouring and PE sheath lap;
(8) Aluminum tube/armor /PE sheath comprehensive sheath structure.
